Peer Review Process
All research articles published in Indonesian Economics and Finance Insights (IEFI) undergo full peer review. Our peer-review process adheres to strict academic standards to ensure the quality, validity, and relevance of the published research.
Review Workflow:
-
Initial Desk Review: Upon submission, the Editorial Board evaluates the manuscript to ensure it aligns with the journal's Focus and Scope, meets formatting guidelines, and passes the initial plagiarism screening (maximum similarity index of 10%). Manuscripts failing this stage will be rejected directly (Desk Reject).
-
Double-Blind Peer Review: Passed manuscripts are assigned to at least two independent, anonymous reviewers with expertise in the relevant field. The identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept strictly concealed from each other to ensure objectivity.
-
Review Timeframe: The standard review process takes approximately 10 Days from initial submission to the acceptance decision.
-
Final Decision: The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations. The possible outcomes are: Accepted, Accepted with Minor Revisions, Resubmit with Major Revisions, or Rejected.
